Unsurpassed colorful top spot, for years: Los Enamorados Ibiza
Forget that Ibiza mainly functions as a holiday island where you spend all your summer days. The island can also serve very well as a weekend destination, city trip style. If you do that, make a weekend of it, you may be able to spend just a little more on a nice stay. Do that, leave any kiddos at home (because they are not allowed to sleep over) and choose Los Enamorados in Ibiza. Still the dream. Promise.
We are under no illusion that the majority of our readers have never heard of this incredibly attractive hotel in Ibiza – in fact, we think there are few Instagram feeds of well-traveled bloggers without snaps from here. But we wouldn't be worth a damn if we didn't mention it here. So here we go. Cool is an understatement and there is no way around it Los Enamorados in Ibiaza that the French-Dutch owners (Pierre Traversier, ex-basketball player and self-proclaimed sneaker junkie, and Rozemarijn de Witte, who was once editor-in-chief of Linda. They painted their joint portrait meters high on the outside walls of their hotel) did not color them with love.
Colorful, tasteful and trendsetting are understatements, and in the three years that the hotel has been open it has become the attraction of Portinatx, the northernmost and most beautiful point of Ibiza. If you're not going to sleep, at least reserve lunch at the restaurant that was built on the rocks – a wonderful place. Or go for a drink. We don't necessarily think the cuisine is the best on the island; the address is, as said, the coolest thing. You can also go wild in the Los Enamorados shop. Please note, apart from the restaurant, children, dogs and drug and candy rush addicts are not welcome. Oh, and while we're here: Cala d'en Serra, a tiny beach near Portinatx. Doing. And then don't tell anyone.
