Dream spot in the middle of Portuguese nothingness: Areias do Seixo
A magical dream place in the middle of Portuguese countryside, about a 45-minute drive from Lisbon. That is Pebble Sands. There is a hotel and several villas on the site. The harvest from the organic garden is used in the dishes of the three (all different, all fun and delicious) restaurants. Oh yes, Areias do Seixo is only a kilometer from the beach and those who prefer fresh water can dive into the on-site spa.
The outside has been discussed, so time for the inside. The highlight? The bathroom! In the never-seen-before category. Lovely flowers everywhere you look, just like hearts and undoubtedly just as touching texts (in Portuguese). The wicker basket, towels, flowers, fresh strawberries, sun hats, home-baked cookies and something else we probably forgot in the room. The view from your room of the Atlantic Ocean (it's less than a five-minute walk to the small beach, across private property – opulence!). When building the hotel, the natural environment and the view from the hotel were taken into account in every possible way infinity pool may be included in a list (including the swimming pool itself).
