New in The Hague: Bar Bowie
The Hague is looking forward to it. One (catering) door after another opens (and we love it!). And so the men behind two successful, well-known gems in The Hague - Café Franklin and Walter Benedict - opened a new door: that of Bar Bowie The Hague. The men felt like doing something new, and so it happened. At Bar Bowie nothing is standard, but everything is new and fresh, such as looks and the menu. Bar Bowie The Hague it is as far as we are concerned, we will be in the royal city in the near future!
Nice, warm, cozy and cozy - that's how you could describe the atmosphere at the newest addition to The Hague: wine bar and restaurant Bar Bowie!
The building on the corner of Regentesselaan had been empty for some time. A beautiful place in a fairly quiet neighborhood, and therefore the place for an attractive wine bar where you want to cycle around the block.
The restaurant exudes atmosphere, but with a modern twist. Nice decoration, a solid bar and French awnings; then you have us. You drink a glass of good wine, or you let yourself be pampered by one (or more) why not) of fine, French-Mediterranean dishes. In any case, you won't go home hungry because, from small to large appetites, Bar Bowie offers delicious dishes to share, but also dishes for two, such as refined cuts of meat or fish. For a big appetite but, it may be said, refined taste.
How about plaice with beurre blanc and cockles? Yes please. And it is good to know that despite the necessary fish and meat dishes, vegetarians can also breathe a sigh of relief at Bar Bowie. How about celeriac with almond cream, beans, roasted barley & dill? Tasty much!
In addition to a tasty dinner, Bar Bowie also offers breakfast and lunch. In short, Bowie is there for you every day and at any time. What more could a person want?
You can see it, a clear signature and brotherhood with the tents that the owners already have, but each of these establishments has their own atmosphere and menu. Bar Bowie is already a winner and immediately enters our top 3 in The Hague.
