Andaz Hotel, Amsterdam
The interior at Andaz, designed by Marcel Wanders, honors the Dutch heritage. There is special art throughout the hotel with a nod to Dutch history. Huge fish on the wall, Delft blue tiles and yellow tulip-shaped reading chairs.
Lifestyle hotel Andaz Amsterdam Prinsengracht is located in the former public library building of Amsterdam, in the middle of the Amsterdam city. That tradition has been preserved and brightened up with a good dose of design, creativity and modernity. The fact that the hotel is located in the middle of the city does not mean that it is cramped; on the contrary. In addition to 122 rooms and suites, Andaz offers more than 600 meters of event spaces that are sure to boost your creativity.
Andaz is the kind of place where you can go for anything and walk away with a head full of new impressions. The only thing you don't take home full is your wallet, but hey: that wonderful stay you have in your pocket compensates for that lack of money. If you really want to go all out: the Prinsengracht Suite is the largest roof terrace suite in Amsterdam.
Location, location, location
There is no discussion about the location; that one is great. Amsterdam is at your feet and with two somersaults you are in the middle of the Nine Streets. That means endless entertainment and fun within easy reach. The highlights of the city can be reached within fifteen minutes on foot. As if you weren't walking around the city enough, the hotel has a fitness center (open 24 hours!), a spa and you can book massages.

Restaurants nearby
There is no shortage of restaurants in the area. You can get delicious schiacciatas, sandwiches and coffee at Zero Zero in the Nieuwe Spiegelstraat. At Toscanini you can eat delicious Italian food and for the best cheese fondue in the city you have to go to Restaurant Smelt. At Buffet van Odette you can sit down for a classic meal with a view of the Prinsengracht and from the terrace of Café Sonneveld you have an equally nice view of the Egelantiersgracht. For such a nice view and delicious food you don't have to leave the hotel. At Prince & Monkey you have all that, and an attractive interior.
Keffer & Kroost
For just under 50 euros extra, your dog can not only come along for fun, but he will also be completely pampered. At Andaz they have a real VID (very important dog) program. Your keffer will receive, among other things, his own bed with a blanket from Cloud7 and a bottle of mineral water that is drunk from a designer dog bowl. Children are also very welcome, even if they do not have a special VIK program.
