Speaking of holiday feeling, boats depart from Olhão and Faro to Ria Formosa, an area with four islands, with yes, Caribbean vibes (hello, white sandy beaches!). The Ria Formosa can also be reached by canoe, in Hawaiian Pirogue style. Another must: from Casa Rosa you can take a short walk to spot flamingos. Requirement? Both (small) four-legged friends and children are very welcome. Our furry friends are welcomed with open arms and even receive a welcome gift, food and a dog bed (how nice is that?). The surcharge is €25 per dog per day.

Children are also very welcome. There are plenty of fun activities to do in the car-free area. From a day at the beach to relaxing by your own pool, going on a discovery tour together by bike, or visiting Ria Formosa. At the hotel it is possible to have a camp bed (suitable for children up to 10 years old) placed in the room. You can also book rooms next to each other, so that the family can sleep close together.
