Wonderful place to go with the kids in the Biesbosch; Food truck restaurant Buizen

Nothing better than an accessible restaurant during a weekend or day in Biesbosch. This place exceeds all your expectations because a.) it looks bizarrely cozy and b.) it has a very decent menu and then there is also c.) the kids can have fun in a very stylish but fun play paradise - nope. not Ikea / McDonalds style, I think Food truck restaurant Cuffs & Restraints style - and that style you will like.

You will find this gem in the Biesbosch marina. Actually, they call themselves official Food truck restaurant Buizen, because at peak times there are several here foodtrucks parked to sample the tastiest snacks and other street foodesque to prepare delicacies. But if you come during the day or during quiet times, everything comes from a central kitchen. Very easy, but don't be surprised by the old buses, boats and the like truck material spread throughout the warehouse.

Outside you can enjoy watching boats and inside you can enjoy the cozy vintage interior: lamp, old chair, cozy old clock, that kind of work. Behind the kitchen there is a small intermediate room where the little things can let loose in a playroom (read age 2-4). Here they can enjoy the kitchen, mini restaurant and other entertainment. If you walk a little further, you will see the real work there. A large play castle with slides and walkways, you know the drill.

The food doesn't disappoint either, don't expect culinary delights but certainly tasty pizzas, good decent burgers, flammkuchen, salads and nice toasted sandwiches and sandwiches for lunch. For the kids, of course, pancakes and ice cream and the whole shebang.
