Casa Pueblo Boca Paila in Tulum, Mexico

Cold? Not in Mexico! But the sunny land of tacos and cenotes is actually something to miss all year round and the entire Bart team dreams of sunny Mexico, and to be precise, of the hip yet always relaxed Tulum. And to make everything completely specific: Casa Pueblo Boca Paila, Tulum, Mexico is the place where our thoughts wander. One of those places where you go and never want to leave.

The golden trio (Mike Moser, Derek Klein and Fernanda Palma) are the owners of Casa Pueblo Boca Paila: a boutique hotel looking towards the Caribbean horizon and incorporating the classic elements of stately plantation houses into the new hotel. A fine piece of work in terms of furnishings: polished floors, white long corridors, sleek furniture with a touch of lilac, pink and beige incorporated into the accessories. Casa Pueblo, to make it easy, has fourteen rooms, all of which are ready to eat. Don't do this literally, because you still have to leave room for the shrimp or rib-eye tacos and the guacamole with tortilla chips that are on the lunch menu.

Dear Tulum! We know you well and love you to the moon and back! Here are all our tips: Bart's Best of Tulum

The crème de la crème of Case Pueblo is the 15-metre swimming pool with white and red tiles surrounded by pots with greenery in them and far too far-fetched sunbeds. You understand that the 24 hours are quickly spent in and around this swimming pool sipping a cocktail. Anyway, maybe plan a few hours for the nearby Mexican cenotes (an above-ground pool). Just a few hours - the sunset over the mangroves from the roof bar of Casa Pueblo should not be missed.
