The Penthouse

The Penthouse

Anyone afraid of heights should skip this tip, because... Penthouse you go into the air. Penthouse is the highest sky bar in the Netherlands and here you can enjoy a drink at a height of no less than 135 meters. Before you stand with a cocktail in your hand, you have to buy a ticket for 9 euros, but then you have something. From above you have a good view and you can see the city itself, Scheveningen and even Rotterdam. On Saturday evening they really turn it into a party with music and light projections.

Coffee and cocktails, what else do you need? In the former bank building of the Kneuterdijk (now better known as Voco The Hague), they serve coffees and cocktails at the Ultramarine Wonderbar. In the bar you can sit below deck or above deck on board (it is inspired by stream point and an imaginative undersea world). Extra cool: the old bank vault door has remained. And in which direction should you sail? Try the Premier Winter or Terresita with coconut.

Palmette

Palmette

At Palmette they may not have the most cocktails on the menu, but... hey that doesn't make the cocktails any less tasty. On the map these mixtures of drinks are shown as: after dinner cocktails. So first a bite at this hip and atmospheric place and then on to the cocktails. The menu includes well-known cocktails such as Sgroppino, Espresso Martini, Old Fashioned and special coffees like an Irish coffee or Spanish coffee.

The Five Points

The Five Points

The Five Points this might tell you something: this cocktail bar is inspired by a notorious residential area in New York from the past. When you enter this cocktail bar, you leave The Hague for a moment and travel back in time when gangsters were in charge. This is reflected in this bar in blue and brown leather chairs, lots of wood and painters. Here you will not find high-end cocktails, but Old Fashioned drinks.

The roof of Bleyenberg

The roof of Bleyenberg

The roof of Bleyenberg is wonderful in the summer when you can watch the sun set with your cocktail. Reason enough not to go there in winter? No, in winter you can sit comfortably under cover. A roof terrace, where they serve delicious cocktails in the cocktail bar. In addition to classic cocktails, they also serve a number of cocktails that you probably haven't heard of yet, vegan cocktails and non-alcoholic cocktails.
