Restaurant & bar CUE in Amsterdam

At the top of CUE, you immediately feel like you've thought everything through. It's not exactly cozy, but it is stylish and relaxed. Chef George Kataras and Mohamed Aous (previously known for restaurant VanderVeen) run the restaurant and serve dishes with surprising combinations. The dishes are often grilled and prepared over an open flame, giving them that extra bit of flavor. Everything on your plate is perfect, and the service team will even pair the wines for you. CUE recently even added a Michelin star but it doesn't feel stiff at all; it's just accessible and really tasty.

But what really sets CUE apart from most Michelin-starred establishments is the basement bar. Downstairs, you'll find a listening bar, reminiscent of Japanese vinyl bars: here you'll only hear real records (from disco to jazz), the cocktails are creative, and the bar bites to share Delicious. Cue is actually the perfect spot for a long night out, where you can start with a delicious dinner and then linger downstairs with a cocktail and a good vibe. You can just pop in to the bar if you're in the mood for a drink or an after-work get-together, as they don't take reservations. The restaurant, however, fills up quickly, so book in advance!
