The better 'walking club': Walking Ibiza

Walking Ibiza? Yes, Walking IbizaThat's one in the list for when we are allowed again. But, in the context of “you can you must know don't have it at hand early enough", we'll probably put it in here. Walkin Ibiza people, put a cross next to it. Because if you are actually allowed again, you will at least be sitting front row.

Walking Ibiza?

Walking Ibiza?

Our friends from Walking Ibiza are all Dedicated living encyclopedias that really know every hidden camino inside out and effortlessly proclaim the name of every native crop (in 3 languages).

They have been organizing all kinds of different walks around the island for years. From short, easy going walks and pleasant 'social walks', to quite challenging hikes. Recently the 'mindful walks' added, where you walk together in silence (which is really nice!) and whose destination is often a special (spiritual) place, such as Can Soleil (also called the Stonehenge of Ibiza), the well-known Es Vedra (which proves to be impressive every time) or the magical Atlantis beach.

Whether it is the biggest attractions or the most unknown secret beaches that you have not yet been able to discover even in the thickest insiders guide; they know how to find them effortlessly. For example, had you ever heard of the silver mines of San Carlos, the Stone bridge at Cala D'albarca or the tunnel under Santa Elaria? Well? Definitely not…

In the low season, 4 to 5 walks are organized per week, in the high season there are fewer because of the heat. You don't need to make a reservation, you just have to show up.

In addition to these walks, kayak tours and even 10-day walks around the island are also organised, but for those who find this a bit too much of all the good natural violence, the Food Tours through Ibiza Town are also on the programme, which takes you past the most authentic traditional restaurants in town for the best local Spanish food and drinks. Look. Doesn't sound bad either.
