The tastiest coffee beans for home use

We have now pretty much figured out how to work from home and have mastered it from A to Z. But we really have to do everything we can to make it cozy and comfortable. Starting with the basics, we can assume that a nice workplace has already been created. But what happens next? A good cup of coffee to start the day, of course. Hereby the tastiest vouchers for home. Is he coming:

Stoker

Stoker

The men of Stooker in Amsterdam are in favor of a sustainable production process and of course we can only agree with that. From picking the beans to the roasting process. Stooker Specialty Coffee was founded by Onno van Zanten and Florian Hessel. In recent years they gained experience in coffee shops and roasteries as baristas and coffee roasters. Now they work every day towards their ultimate goal: working together with catering entrepreneurs to let as many people as possible taste how beautiful really good coffee can be. That certainly worked! The coffee from Stoker can be obtained from €24 per 1 kilo.

Lot 61

Lot 61

Perhaps Amsterdam's most popular coffee bean: Lot 61. This coffee is served in many places (think: coffee district, lotti's, and many others). The coffee beans are available in different flavors, but secretly we are fans of the basic espresso - fivr. The bag is also handsome (nice design with brown and pink). It's also nice that they ship for free throughout the Netherlands from 15 euros. And that from €18 per 1 kilo.

Bocca

Bocca

Bocca is doing well. We have known that for a while, but now we can make it even clearer. In addition to their delicious flagship store and café in the heart of Amsterdam (mega tip for a visit by the way) they also do a great job when it comes to coffee for home. So they have one themselves Subscription (never without coffee again!) where you get different beans sent to your home every month. If you prefer the basic bean, you can of course also order it in the shop. We often order the bombita – a bean with chocolate, spice and caramel – but with a dark roast. Love! What does that cost? Bocca coffee is from €28,50 per 1 kilo.

and THIS IS HOW TO MAKE THE TASTIEST COFFEE AT HOME!

and THIS IS HOW TO MAKE THE TASTIEST COFFEE AT HOME!

Really, people: we are not baristas at Barts Boekje (really). We're not even close. But we do want a really good bowl, even when we are at home. In comes the Siemens EQ.9 Plus, a fully automatic espresso machine that is unprecedented (really). After a (hellish) search, it turned out to be the very best of its kind. Are you reading along? Because with this (good looking!) fully automatic espresso machine, Bart's bakkies are top-notch these days barista-proof. The tastiest coffees, with and without milk. Just get the right coffee beans and you are good to go. Read more

Boat

Boat

At Boat they are green and also organic – and you notice that. This way they have direct contact with the coffee farmers and these coffee farmers are also mentioned on the relevant packaging that comes from them. We like it! The flavors are very diverse and have different strengths. It's also nice that the coffee comes from various parts of the world, so they have Ethiopian coffee but also beans from Thailand. The aromas vary enormously and there is something for everyone. On the site you can now order free of charge (without shipping) from €25 euros and the beans from Boat are from €27,99 per 1 kilo.

Fire marshals

Fire marshals

A household name since 1994. What started in the capital with a store on Van Baerlestraat quickly became an empire. Fire marshals. What we like about it? Before this time, people were mainly into vacuum-packed coffee and standard machines - with the arrival of Brandmeesters, people really got to know good coffee. And the coffee Fire marshals can certainly also be done in your own machine (from €26,40 per 1 kilo). They also have many different flavors of vanilla, caramel or cocoa to mix. On this site you can clearly read which blend you need for which type of coffee (if you prefer to start with a cappuccino, they recommend the Segudo, for example).
