Ibiza's coolest-not-even-open-yet-hide-away-stays for this summer part 2: IBIZA CAMPO LOFT
(Summer) holiday cravings, anyone? We do. And like every year, that also includes a week in Ibiza. Because it is possible. Right? If you are also (who isn't) looking for the most beautiful/best/atmosphere/smartest newest spot... The perfect balance between a bit of luxury & comfort, surrounded by rustic nature, inspiringly decorated with lots of laidback-ness and yet close to the places to be? What we were looking for in this Ibiza triptych: Ibiza's coolest-not-even-open-yet-hide-away-stays for this summer.
This is part 2: IBIZA CAMPO LOFT.
Two years ago, the owners of this pearl opened a masterpiece: IBIZA CAMPO. An incredibly tastefully decorated casita (Spanish for guesthouse) with a phenomenal view over the valley of the Morna Valley. With a beautiful black powder-coated Eginstill kitchen, super comfy Cocomat beds, funky art by street artist Laser 3.14 and the much-loved authentic vintage Eames chairs, this apartment is really more than a top catch. That is, if you manage to book here. IBIZA CAMPO is always full. Fuck.

Good news, but that's about it. First, a little about the brains behind all these goodness: over interior architect Jurjen van Ibiza Interiors (although, don't underestimate the woman and star Selina next to this man!) We've talked about it before, see here. But in addition to preparing his 'Surf House' (which we already talked about in that article and which is now almost open, stay tuned), the couple is working on yet another project! As we speak, the camino (Spanish for 'road') is being worked on hard and their newest baby is the IBIZA CAMPO LOFT. That's right, a second CAMPO that no one knows about yet and which, paraparapaa, can still be reserved. Don't mention it.

On the same estate as the casita IBIZA CAMPO (and also their own family home), one of the old stables is transformed into yet another amazing design mecca. The LOFT is the name and the LOFT itself already had an industrial character: a large detached open space of 80m2 with concrete columns and steel beams (the name was quickly invented...)
What makes the space truly unique is that those beautiful, authentic -typical Ibicenco- 'Sabina' beams have been preserved. You can already feel it: this mix is of course sublime! On the one hand, sturdy, robust elements in combination with natural and pure materials. As icing on the cake, this lovely place also has a phenomenal unobstructed view over half the island (with even a bit of sea view!)

Well, I can tell you: they got me at hello.
Take a look for yourself at the existing castito above and at the rendering below of what is to come.

This mix of styles has also been implemented in the finish of the LOFT (think: steel doors and windows with large glass fronts), and also in its furnishings. For example, the sleek, clean kitchen and floor are combined with a 'warm' Safari Chair by Carl Hansen, the purely natural Cocomat beds, the lighting from Ay Illuminate and linen curtains from Etoffe Unique. Good to know: Ibiza Interiors is a dealer of (among others) these brands, so if you are involved in these kinds of nice things yourself, you can go to the LOFT on the Spanish island (for better test work perhaps?)

They are currently standing there on top of that Morna mountain with their shovel in hand, but you can already book the LOFT for next season! The tip is: don't wait too long, because believe us, we have not often seen them much better than this... (and we have seen quite a bit, just saying).
x Maud
