CHILDREN'S FARM WOLFSLAAR, BREDA

You can find petting zoos everywhere, but not all farms are the same. Because, although it is always hilarious for children to see a cow pooping up close, their attention span usually quickly wanes after the umpteenth long-eared rabbit. And not just for children... How nice is it that there are toy tractors that they can drive around with, that they can walk across a wobbly bridge, cycle their legs off to see the light on the energy meter or even milk an artificial cow. Check the agenda before you go because there are also regular events, from sheep shearing to owl pellet dissection and more. The adjacent visitor centre is also the starting point for treasure hunts and children's parties. And once you've done all that, you can relax in Charlotte's Garden House. A nice place where you can enjoy the organic kitchen inside or outside on the terrace (with sandpit). Oh yes, don't forget to bring a set of dry clothes. No child can resist the large water playground... bcw Breda
