Mimi and Valk Versmarkt – Voorschoten
Bshopping and having an extensive lunch, that's what we call combining the useful with the pleasant. In Voorschoten near Valk Fresh Market, right next to Tasting Room Mimi, it is possible. Colored shopping carts, great music and everything on the shelves is something you want to put in your cart. At neighbor Mimi's you can eat good food, eat good food and eat good food (and it also looks really nice).
Next to Valk Versmarkt is lunch and lifestyle shop Mimi. Mimi has already scored one hundred points with the first cappuccino, because it comes with a mini Tony Chocolonely. Stress of choice when seeing the map? Go for the ceviche (fresh, sea bass, salmon) or rock shrimp (fried, crispy, shrimp).
In terms of wines, Mimi is absolutely perfect. There are more than 25 varieties on the menu and you can also order them all by the glass. You can enjoy a glass of Bernadus, Bellondrade, Cuvée Daimy (we will come back to this soon because we have our own Mimi slash wine connoisseur, wink).
There are cozy corners everywhere and it is wonderful to hang out at the bar. And nice: literally everything in the restaurant is for sale. From tea mugs to tea light holders and accessories. Sissel Edelbo's caftans are at the top of the wishlist. Want. We. To have.
Small side note; at Mimi you can only have breakfast, lunch and drinks and on Fridays it is open until 20:00 PM. 's MiDuring the day the music gets a little louder every hour and you can enjoy that Friday afternoon drink.
