New: Another cup of coffee? The Hague

Sometimes you suddenly come across an old-fashioned pearl again. Just... When you wander around The Hague and Scheveningen on a rainy day. That's how it happened and that's how we are talking about the new Nog een Bakkie?, in a non-touristy residential area just behind the Scheveningen boulevard. The small business opened at the beginning of May with the cozy name (because calling your business, Another Cupcake? isn't that too nice?) and the nicest interior we saw in a while. A hodgepodge gone good: better styled and more original than all its dime-a-dozen competitors.

If you go to Scheveningen, there is a good chance that you will not get much further than it Black Toad, which has been the best part of it for years Scheveningen beach (the nicest shops, the tastiest food, the nicest atmosphere and all year long dog-friendly (provided - in principle - on a leash, although you have to kick ours hard (that's a joke of course, handsome boy who dares to kick our Willem) to get him away from us, let alone bothers other people). But if you want to do a little more and fancy an excellent cup of coffee, a lemonade and a piece of cake or a different sandwich, walk via De Pier (also fun!) to the Kurhaus and walk down the street. which you can also call the driveway of the Kurhaus. To the left et voila, sits there Another cup of coffee.

It should be clear that Another Cup? there is mainly for, well, another cup of coffee, of the better kind. The owner of the business thought that she should have succeeded in realizing her dream sometime at the end of 2018. Get out from under the boss's yoke and have your own shop. Her boyfriend put words to words, helped her with hypnosis therapy and lo and behold: less than six months later, Another Bakkie? a fact. Also nice: the same owner loves marketplace finds and Nog een Bakkie is the showcase of this hobby. The store is completely full of items from Marktplaats, but the stories that go with the chairs, lamps, rugs and more are even more fun. But she has to tell you that herself. We'll just have a cup of coffee.

Almost forgot: if the weather is nice, the backyard is also a gift!
