Artistic getaway: Potter's House Mallorca
Man oh man, we love this sweet place in our loved one Mallorca. Because as you know, we are in love with interior design Design. Especially if they are those lovely earthy shades. Oh well, it Potter's House is located in the northeast of Mallorca, in the small town Son Servera. A real artistic one getaway.
Picture this: serene and attractive indoor and outdoor spaces with a garden that you can admire. A true paradise for the creative. The Potter's House was purchased by Luciano Giubbilei in 2017. A true master when it comes to creating gardens. Previously, the house and associated studio were owned by ceramist Maria Antonio Carrió. Luciano first met Maria when he visited her studio. The two spent the entire day talking about the similarities in their works. When Maria died six months later, Luciano was urged by his friends to buy the house. In fact, the idea of an artistic one arose immediately getaway to keep Maria's memory alive and to build on their conversation that one day. No sooner said than done. Two years later, Luciano invited the Swedish ceramicist Maria Kristofferson to be the first to participate in the artistic getaway.
Luciano especially wants to help artists who create beautiful work, but are not yet well known. How does he want to do that? Simple. By entering into conversations that generate creative ideas and express those well-known ones comfort zone steps. And whether you get inspired by that oh-so-beautiful different environment. Because that garden – oh mio dio. We do feel inspired haha! We say this, but here at Bart we are not real potters, but hey... Where there is a will, there is a way, we say.
And… Maria's original garden studio still has a mix of unfinished pieces and original shapes that she used to create her pieces. We think it's cool. Oh and you can also enjoy cooking here in the beautiful kitchen. Kudos.
