Samuels in the Pijp Amsterdam

A whole new wind is blowing through the Amsterdam district of De Pijp: in addition to the nice, recently opened Badcuyp en Brio, has also now restaurant Samuels the doors are wide open. And we want to walk through it, from early morning until late at night.

At Samuels you can just walk in after your walk in the Saphatipark for a good cup of coffee, or you can plan a date night in this cozy corner building. You won't be short of anything for lunch either. Or what about the brekkie sandwich of potato bread, egg, cheddar and onion compote? Right.

Samuels

Samuels

Give us a corner building and we'll be happy in no time. Big windows, lots of light and cozy corners... As a result, it can't be anything other than cozy inside (provided you dress things up a bit warm and cozy, of course). At Samuels, you enter with your nose in the open 'coffee corner'The rest of the space is then divided into a basement and a upper level – wherever the kitchen is located.

The entire building features cool art, beautiful wooden elements and playful use of color. We like.

At the table

At the table

For every moment of the day, Samuels has a mouth-watering dish. Start your day with their classic breakfast, or the orange salad with papaya. One thing is essential for dinner: take into account – and therefore leave room for – Samuel’s bestseller: the tiramisu.

Samuel also knows how to prepare the more well-known dishes such as burrata, smashburger or roasted cauliflower. We see a surprising twist in all these classics. The cauliflower comes with grapes and chickpeas, for example, which makes it wonderfully fresh.

We will be back.
