look, Cafe-restaurant Werkman in Groningen (city) is exactly the kind of place where you can spend the whole day. Whether it's for a (late) breakfast, lunch, dinner or just a drink, whether you want to work, relax or dance, Werkman is your (new) place to go.
Werkman Groningen is located in a prime location in a beautiful building with a glass facade and has no fewer than 3 floors! You go all the way up, then you immediately have a great view of the Grote Markt and the Martini Tower. A big plus now that the nice weather is coming: they also have an excellent terrace!
Do you know those places where you sit and immediately re-style your own house in your mind or repaint your walls? This is such a place. Trust me, I did it. Paint ordered as we write.
The interior is inspired by the work of the Groningen printer and artist Hendrik Nicolaas Werkman (hence the name), resulting in a colorful whole with abstract and modern shapes. We like!
The menu of Werkman is also on point: something for everyone. Oh and hello Messy Popcorn (trust me, ultimate comfort food)! The staff is quick and friendly and on weekends the DJs take over after dinner and you can go for a dance. In short, Werkman is at home in all markets!
As they say themselves: life at Werkman is simple, but damn good! And we can't help but completely agree with this.
