Wolf Winery – wine from Dutch soil
A vineyard is fun. Even more fun: a vineyard where you can take a look and taste and buy. And then even more fun: a winery with a stylish tasting room and a terrace that feels like France. Wolf Winery is a passion project (of owners who lived in France for a few years and learned the trade there) that has grown into a beautiful company on the historic grounds of the Meierij in the countryside of North Brabant - not far from beautiful 's-Hertogenbosch .

A vineyard is nice, but it's no good if you can't look and taste. Fortunately, most winery owners understand that these days, but finding one that also has a nice interior is often more difficult. Fortunately, Wijngoed Wolf gets the sticker 'approved by Bart and Frits' and we absolutely recommend that you book a tour or wine tasting here.
Such a tour can be booked from 6 persons - nice with a group of friends and that includes tasting. You can also book the wine tasting separately and then you can come and taste the different wines on Friday or Saturday.

Ha! And to complete this successful formula, after the wine tasting you can simply continue to sleep, because the former stable has been converted into a guest room and guest house. The guest room is suitable for a maximum of 2 people (hello romantic weekend in the vineyards!) and the guest house has room for 6 people - but can be expanded to 8 people if the guest room is included. Minimum stay is two nights and in high season 1 week, but then you should know that there is also a swimming pool at the house so you will enjoy yourself there.
We understand that it might be a bit much to get in the car and drive to Sint-Michielsgestel just for a tour or tasting. Fortunately, the center of Den Bosch is only a fifteen minute drive away and you can also quickly reach the Loonse and Drunense Dunes for a nice walk. Or make it a mini road trip and add fortified town of Heusden or Kasteel Heeswijk to your program to also sniff some culture. In the category 'local' and 'from the farmer' there is also a water buffalo farm in Boxtel where you can buy delicious products such as mozzarella and yoghurt in the farm shop and vending machine. Delicious for on the snack platter ...
