Restaurant Zahter in the heart of central London, we wrote about it before the list of unmissable hotspots in Carnaby. The restaurant deserves some extra spotlight, because you can really enjoy good food here. You can enjoy sweets and savouries, dips and ultimate all day long c as kofte and baklava. You are guaranteed to leave with a full belly, because you don't want to leave a crumb here.
The restaurant opened its doors in November 2021 in the vibrant heart of London, or Carnaby. In this part you can shop, go out and, above all, eat delicious food. Zahter is no exception. The beautiful interior, which feels both fresh and cozy accessible and modern.
Try to get a seat at the bar so your chef Esra Muslu and can see her team at work. Moreover, for the chilly among us, you will be wonderfully close to the traditional stone oven that will keep you extra warm.
You can immediately see that the food at Zahter is prepared with love and passion. The message of the restaurant is 'enjoy food together' and we of course support that 100%.
What's the deal, you might ask? Well, traditional Turkish food with a contemporary twist. From spicy muhammara to Koz Patlican, meat dishes such as kofte to vegetarian and fish dishes such as shrimp in garlic oil. What does that include? Lots of freshly baked pide (Turkish bread) for dipping! Early birds can go to Zahter for a Turkish breakfast with all the trimmings.
