The owners, Bas, Annemieke, Mats, Cato, and their camping dog, Fons, warmly welcome you to this green haven. The family believes camping is the ultimate form of freedom, and they strive to embody that feeling at this campsite. It's far away from everything, yet close enough to civilization (aka the city of Groningen) for those seeking a bit of hustle and bustle.

The campsite has very nice, spacious camping pitches with power connection, a water tap on every field, and the sanitary building is centrally located in the middle of all fields. So it doesn't matter whether you come with a camper, caravan or tent. There's plenty of room for everyone! The kids can do whatever they want, because the site is car-free.

Love the camping vibe? Spending the whole day outside, in nature, but not a fan of setting up and taking down a tent? The family behind the campsite has also come up with a solution: comfortable Swedish houses! A Scandinavian wooden house, with a cozy area of ​​45m2. The inside is decorated in Scandinavian style, with lots of wood in calm tones, and each Swedish house has its own terrace. All houses are surrounded by greenery. This way you can still experience the camping feeling, but with a little extra luxury.

And there is more… For those who want to take the camping feeling a step further, there are also the Africa Dome and Tenthouse de Hobbit. These unique accommodations have slightly more tent vibes than the Swedish cottages, but you won't need to get out the pegs and tent poles. The Africa Dome seats six people, and Tenthouse de Hobbit is a cozy spot for two. At both, you step straight onto your own terrace, complete with your own lounge chairs, surrounded by plenty of greenery and singing birds.

In the north of the country, just to the south of Groningen, lies Camping de Kleine Wereld. There's plenty to do at this campsite: it offers various facilities, including a swimming pool, a fire pit (although you're welcome to light a fire at your own tent, but please use a fire bowl), a nature playground, yoga classes, a camping shop, a soccer field, and more children's activities. Everything is new and fresh, and looks immaculate. All the Swedish cottages are tastefully furnished with wood. The cottages are also equipped with air conditioning and heating; after all, you never know with Dutch summers. The accommodations are situated completely in nature, surrounded by vegetation and grass. You are guaranteed a beautiful view. The Africa Dome immediately stands out due to its round shape and canvas appearance—a real eye-catcher, especially because of its stunning butter-yellow color. The Hobbit tent house looks exactly as its name suggests. You might have to search for the tent house for a moment, as it is beautifully hidden in the landscape. However, the red color does give away the hiding place a little. You are also perfectly fine with your camper, tent, or caravan, as there are various pitches on the fields ranging from 60m² to 100m². You can choose from compact, standard, spacious, and premium camping pitches. If you have a heavy camper, or a caravan longer than 6.5 meters, choose the heavy-duty pitches on the campsite. If you do not have your own camping equipment but would like to experience the real camping experience in a field, you can book one of the retro caravans.

Whether you sleep in one of the Swedish cottages, the Dome, the Tent House, or your own spot on wheels, you'll be right at home at Camping de Kleine Wereld. There is a brand-new heated outdoor pool (and it is big!). There is a separate toddler pool for the little ones, and besides all that water fun, you can also have a drink at the bar or grab a bite to eat in their own atmospheric restaurant. Bistro Landing, where local and fair-trade products are served as much as possible. Here you can enjoy the first cup of coffee of the day, the last drink of the evening, and everything in between. From the terrace, you have a relaxing view of the kids in the natural playground. And if that's not enough, there's also a cozy bar by the brand-new heated pool, perfect for a refreshing drink after your dip. There's a fireplace both indoors and outdoors, so the atmosphere is always cozy. Especially if you join us for one of the pizza nights: while the kids enjoy the playground (within sight), you can toast with an aperitif or other drink in your hand. Also nice: passersby, cyclists, and hikers who aren't staying at the campsite are also very welcome to drop by.
