A great tip at the last minute for the summer holidays: head to @roermondoutlet or @designeroutletroosendaal

We went to Roosendaal for our last holiday shopping trip, and not so long ago I did the same, but in Roermond. I have a love for the American Vintage shop and definitely for Gucci, Prada, and other amazing designer shops. (Pop-up) shops regularly pop up in the Designer Outlet, and that is precisely why it is so much fun to go again and again: a truly complete day out.

That said: go, and make a weekend of it right away! On the site (bartsboekje.com), we listed three (so six in total) complete weekend getaways for both Roermond and Roosendaal: the nicest hotels in the area, the best restaurants, and things to do with either the whole family, your partner, or a friend, and of course, including a visit to the outlets.

In any case, we quickly bought swim trunks and shorts for the men, new Crocs, and a pair of sunglasses; in short, all you need this summer!

First week of vacation (for the kids) in the bag. Checking in at @hotelthedylan, boating (twice because it was so much fun) at @mokumboot, brunch at @debaanderij.ams (at the location where the IJkantine used to be: a really nice, spacious place and also perfect with kids: starting soon, they will have games, face painting, and more on Sundays! Very nice!). The rest tagged (and loved it all) 🔆💛

And now on to the next holiday stop (now it really is vacation for all of us, incredibly excited).

Forgive me the nostalgia, but in less than a week we are finally going back to our beloved South of France: during the first summers of Vito's life, this was our standard, but strangely enough, Elvis hasn't been there yet. I have a feeling that things are going to be very different in the coming years: I was looking back through our photos and videos and man, it was lovely there. In fact, I’ve already submitted an inquiry for one of Micazu’s houses for the summer of '27 (real gems). Anyway, for the South of France, you have to go to Micazu too. Act quick, because the most beautiful houses sell out fast.
