Someone asked this week which hotel we stayed at in Zermatt, @switzerland. So, this is the one: @beausitezermatt. A gem, if I may say so. And there is also a super nice restaurant (two, actually, and a bar), so save it for later (and thank me laterrrrr)!

But do you live in Breda or Amsterdam now? Do you always sleep in a hotel then? Huh, did you move back?

Noooo. We live in Breda and I myself sleep one or two nights a week in a small but super nice studio in the heart of Amsterdam. Just yesterday someone said to me: “Every week? Oooo, I love that for you!”. Haha. And that’s exactly how it is! It’s amazing that this is possible, especially thanks to @dirkstoof of course who manages it all at home. Look at my green hotel bathrobe 🫶🏼

But then I thought: it would be nice to show *that* for a change too. So @emmapeijnenburg came by to take pictures of my little place. Although… only a part of it ;). I would still really like to wrap the kitchen and do something with the bathroom… Those will probably appear in the pictures again sometime later.

For now, very happy with the @sandbergwallpaper stripe. The sofa bed is the Beddinge from IKEA. Look it up on Marktplaats because it is the nicest (super fast folding) sofa bed there is (in my opinion). New topper and @bemzdesign cover and you're all set. And then snuggling up in my @thehoxtonhotel x @lacoste bathrobe + @giveapon slippers. Yay! Now back to the train, back to Breda. ❤️

Never underestimate the power of a trip for two. While that might still be quite normal now, there may come a time when two becomes three or even more, and you almost forget what it was like just the two of you.
Your honeymoon or babymoon, for example—trips par excellence for which you might well want to splurge (do it: you will never forget these trips, I promise) and yes, that might also be quite nerve-wracking... After all, these trips are rarely truly cheap. And what if something unexpected happens to the unborn baby?
How do you make it less stressful? There are all sorts of very good answers to that. After all, you sit a lot more comfortably on that beach chair when you know that everything is well taken care of. I really fell a bit in love with Switzerland last winter: name anything more beautiful than snow-white mountains (and a glass of ice-cold wine + the most delicious cheese fondue in store after a day of skiing). I'll wait.

Zermatt is a dream of a ski village, and going up the Gornergrat is a must. If you want to go, and not just for the skiing and the view: Saycheese is also a fantastic place to stay! You wouldn't expect it, but it really was one of the best lunches we had. Highly recommended.
