Location, location, location
With everything there is to do on the premises (wellness, swimming pool with slides, fitness and delicious food in the restaurant) you don't really have to take a step. You can spend your days here just fine. But yes, if you do want to go out, here are some tips.
From the green you enter no time in a cozy village with a terrace where you can milk or grab a local beer. The area has many beautiful things and everything is within reach.
For example, visit the Ketteler Hof, a true play paradise for kids (and parents). Nature trails that wind through the forest, high climbing towers and countless bouncy castles, and even exciting water and toboggan runs. An afternoon of paddle boarding or canoeing on the Slingeplas, put your spatial insight to the test at Maze Ruurlo and for animal lovers there is the Wildpark Frankenhof. Wines, wines, wines? Make a stop at Hesselink Vineyard for a wine tasting or go out into the beautiful countryside with a bike ride or walking tour to discover one of the villages. Forgot your book? Book town Bredevoort is definitely worth it. The village is a book paradise and perfect for a pleasant afternoon stroll. Plenty to do and see!

Restaurants nearby
At Restaurant De Schoppe (can easily be found on the park itself) is the place to be for your first coffee of the day, a delicious lunch or an extensive dinner. And the best part? While you are sitting on the terrace with a good glass of wine or a piece of apple pie, the kids are playing in the playground that you can look out on. Win-win.
Still feel like eating out? Winterswijk is just around the corner and is full of nice terraces and eateries. From drinks platter to Burgundian dining, you are in the right place here. But, before you know it, you will be back at De Schoppe, because relaxed dining while the children build sand castles is hard to beat.
The eye wants something too
Camping plus, that's what we love. At De Twee Bruggen you are of course welcome with your own tent or caravan, but if you don't feel like lugging it around, you can also rent accommodation. From bungalows to lodge tents, chalets and even luxury group accommodations, all stylishly and cozily furnished and equipped with all conveniences.
The interior? Of course, it varies per accommodation, but comfortable beds, a cozy living room and a well-equipped kitchen are always present. You will quickly feel at home here. Another plus: for the campers among us, there is now also deluxe private bathroom. Hello infrared sauna, rain shower, underfloor heating, toilet, double sink, dishwasher, refrigerator and washer-dryer. No hassle with the communal showers, just nice luxury camping in the middle of nature.

We'd love to! Kiddos and four-legged friends can also have fun here out and about be. Let things be and with a full (children's) activity program, lots of nature to wander through (great for people and animals), everything should be fine.
