Getaway Deluxe

Nature and comfort blend together nicely at Getaway Deluxe. The fact that these two go hand in hand so well is reflected in the beautiful and unique holiday homes. Founders Paulien and Arno have a knack for creating special accommodations, making waking up somewhere else in our own little country extra special. With their unique background (more on this later), they give every getaway its own character. Currently, you can choose from five special houses: l'Orangerie en The Station in Gorssel, From Kas en The nest in Epse and The block in Bergentheim. From the forests around Gorssel and Epse to the water-rich landscape of Bergentheim: the getaways are each situated in quiet spots in the green east of the Netherlands. Het Nest, opening in June 2026, is the newest addition to the family.

Location, location, location

Retreats in the most fantastic outdoor locations The country; that is the best way to describe the houses of Getaway Deluxe. Unique stays, far away from the crowds. As soon as you arrive at one of the luxury getaways via the country lanes through the greenery, the relaxation can begin. The five accommodations are spacious and modern, and whichever you choose: Getaway Deluxe never compromises on quality, and you can see and feel it. The decor is functional, rugged, and warm, with a keen eye for detail. All locations are situated in the heart of nature, so hiking, cycling, and spending time outdoors are all possibilities. An added bonus: l'Orangerie, The Station, and De Kas feature a natural swimming pool. In the mood for extra relaxation? Then you’re in the right place at The Block and Het Nest, both of which have a hot tub. At Het Nest, you also get a sauna included. And for a cozy movie night, all houses are equipped with a projector.

The eye wants something too

Before Paulien and Arno, the founders of Getaway Deluxe, started building houses, they built ships. It was there that they learned how to design a space that is both functional and spacious within a limited area (and they succeed admirably at this even when they have a bit more space at their disposal!). Sometimes a design starts on the inside, sometimes on the outside; whatever feels most natural at that moment. The result? Houses where you feel immediately at home and which serve as the ideal base for a weekend getaway (they think so, we think so, and you probably will too soon).

Getaway Deluxe is for outdoor enthusiasts who don't want to compromise on comfort. Think of a good bed, a rain shower, beautiful design, and a kitchen where you really love to cook. The best of both worlds, under one (perhaps glass) roof.

Keffers & Kroost

Yes and yes. The accommodations are certainly suitable for a family stay, as all houses feature multiple bedrooms or comfortable sleeping areas. Only Het Nest does not have separate bedrooms. There, you sleep in a double bed under the glass roof (completely private) and find a bunk bed downstairs.
Your furry friend is also welcome, although this does not apply to all locations. At L'Orangerie and The Block, dogs are welcome to come along (surcharge €50 per stay). At De Kas, The Station, and Het Nest, the dog stays with the sitter.
