Cowley Manor Experimental, country house in the Cotswolds

Stroll through the hilly landscapes, rest and ultimately chill. That's what we like to do most in the English Cotswolds. Cowley Manor Experimental There is a country house in Cowley where all this is possible. The fact that Lewis Carroll got his inspiration for Alice in Wonderland from here (he wrote the book in Cowley) does not surprise us at all and shows how magical this place is.

The country house is large and has a lot of rooms. 31 units in which you can sleep, several living rooms, a cocktail lounge, library and a dining room (restaurant) serving French cuisine. You enter through the mudroom, the room where you can take off your wet clothes and muddy shoes (it's still England...) before entering the rest of the house. The country house was decorated by designer Dorothée Meilichzon, who created a tasteful mix of classic and timeless elements in every room. Four-poster beds, rattan, warm colors and, as if the place itself wasn't magical enough, here and there references to Alice in Wonderland. Hidden doors, chess boards, that kind of fun. Another nice surprise is the spa with swimming pools, gyms and wonderful treatments.
