Monsak works exclusively with batches of rescued leather. Rescued leather? These are hides that are rejected due to the sky-high standards of the furniture and fashion industries. It involves B-grade leather, leftover stock, or hides with minor damage. Monsak gives these 'oddballs' a second chance by turning them into beautiful bags. This does not mean, however, that your bag has minor damage. The imperfections are simply worked around. But you do ensure that leather, which would otherwise be thrown away, gets a wonderful new purpose in this way. Nice and sustainable!
