A hidden fairytale is The Kip Family in Voorst (De Achterhoek)
Haaaaa Achterhoek! You would easily overlook this part of the Netherlands that touches Germany. Shame, right? Ever heard of it The Chicken Family? You want it. It is a farm for six to ten people, in the middle of the greenery in the Achterhoek. The farm is located on a large piece of land surrounded by large trees and two ponds. And: your four-legged friend can come along. Kudos!
The daughter, Vera, and son of the Kip Family have renovated the farm and the estate into a nice place. You have three bedrooms, each with its own style. This way you have a room with authentic details such as Delft Blue plates on the wall and furniture. We like it. The large living room has a Cozy sitting area, a bar where you can have a drink (or two) and there is a country dining table where you can enjoy an extensive dinner that you have prepared yourself in the modern all-in-one kitchen. In the evening you can relax by the fire basket on the covered terrace with a glass of good wine or barbecue on a summer evening. During the day you can enjoy 'doing nothing' here. Just doing absolutely nothing. Love! A walk through the green garden with the large ponds where the little ones and the four-legged friend(s) can go crazy, go out with the canoes or visit the Alpaca ranch d'n Achterhoek. No kids in sight? A wine tasting it is at Wijngoed Montferland! Finally plenty to do here.

The Kip Family is not just for holidaymakers or lazing around. You can also visit the farm rent for workshops, meetings and team building. How nice to have a creative brainstorming session in the green, a yoga retreat can also be done here in peace or a team building day where you can go out with the canoes.
