Bloom sits on a picturesque corner in the cozy neighborhood behind the station. When the weather is nice you can sit outside and it has a bit of a Berlin atmosphere with the nice young people sitting there. Although you are just as cozy inside. At Bloom the cakes are delicious and you can have a delicious, healthy lunch. The avocado toast is highly recommended. The friendly owner of Bloom didn't have his hands full enough with the always pleasantly busy Bloom and also opened Egg around the corner.
By Jeremy is a coffee shop, lunch shop, concept store and hair salon on the stately avenue de la Liberté. Or as they chicly say: hair spa en market. Anyway, the coffee is great, there is a wide choice of goodies to go with it and they serve nutritious, vegetarian and vegan bowls, bagels and wraps. The people who work there are friendly and in the shop they sell a lot of beautiful things for the home. From beautiful books to ceramics and from jewelry to accessories for the home. We prefer to take everything home with us. Including that good coffee.

On a cozy corner in the Gare district is Florence, a sweet little place with funky people. They have a big mission with their coffee: supporting female coffee farmers in Africa. In addition to delicious coffee, they also have matcha, homemade iced teas and of course a tasty snack on the side. The vibe in Florence is welcoming and a visit is definitely worth it. They will soon move to the other side of the street when the renovation is finished. Same atmosphere, different building.

If you fancy a healthy, well-filled breakfast or lunch, walk to Egg. This new business is located around the corner from Bloom - and also has the same owner - in a nice large space where you can sit upstairs and downstairs. The egg-yellow steel staircase, the large marble counter and the vintage furniture give Egg a very unique look. The menu includes dishes with – how surprising – egg, but with a twist. Egg benedict on a bao bun, egg-salmon-avocado on a potato waffle and the tastiest sweet treats. All dishes are equally richly topped and therefore finger-licking good.
Egg – 62 Rue de Strasbourg
