La Cocotte in Trieste, Italy, is an Airbnb as we like it: handsome, comfortable and with a nice bed. The apartment is located on the attic floor of an authentic building. To reach the fifth floor you have to climb a few stairs, but then you have something. Lots of space, atmosphere and air conditioning (comes in handy during the Italian summers).

If there is a bag of Nutella biscuits waiting for you upon arrival, you will score points, but that is not the only reason to get excited about this place. The Airbnb is located directly opposite a small park, within walking distance of all kinds of nice restaurants and around the corner from a bus stop. The interior of La Cocotte is described by the hosts as bohemian-chic and we can totally agree with that. In any other place, a palm tree print duvet cover that looks a bit too fake wouldn't do much good, but here it fits perfectly. The sloping roof with wooden beams, stone walls and mix of accessories create a cozy atmosphere. In the kitchen, one of the walls was painted with chalk paint and it wasn't long before it was filled with words of praise from guests. If you decide to stay here, please say hello from us.
