You will find Landwinkel in the river area of Nijmegen, also known as Ressen De Woerdt; a piece of pure nature outside the city!
This is the place where you can imagine yourself in the countryside and enjoy natural products, authentic charm and a lot of conviviality. De Woerdt is a family business that was founded in the late 70s. The family originally sold fruit at home, which quickly grew into a farm shop. You will now find a large orchard here with apples, pears, plums and walnuts. A country shop full of delicacies and regional products and a nice terrace. Here you can completely relax and feel as happy as a child!
Step out of the country store De Woerdt inside and you will be welcomed by the smell of freshly baked bread and ripe fruits, all year round! The homemade juices, jam and honey are also highly recommended, yum!
In the corner of the store you will find an extensive selection of dairy products: glass jars full of yogurt and cheeses that you can't choose from. The nice thing is that you can taste this! This way you can't make a wrong choice and you'll find yours favorites. Also works De Woerdt together with local entrepreneurs, and you will also find Nijmegen beers and wines, and baked goods here.
Collect some cheeses, fruit and nuts to take with you and your own natural snack board at home to create, right in your own garden. And, don't forget to bring a basket full of delicious strawberries, freshly picked and straight from the field!
Finished shopping in the country store or just fancy an afternoon of drinking fresh apple juice in the countryside? Then relax on the farm terrace while looking out over the green meadows and grazing cows, idyllic, right? The menu is also perfect for the vegetarians and vegans among us, check out the unprocessed dishes. Going abroad this summer is no longer necessary, because you can spend the whole day here in the sun!
Okay, that we are fans of De Woerdt It's clear by now, but did you know that you can even sleep here?! Dreams come true. Camping between the fruit trees in the orchard, who wouldn't want that? Now the farm life can really begin; wake up in the morning and pick your own fruit, pet the animals, and eat fresh bread and drink pear juice all day long. Can you picture it?
