Save a Magic Box from Too Good To Go

Throwing away food is and remains a shame. Oh no, there's that rotten banana in the fruit bowl again and it's a shame, the expired meats in the refrigerator... Although we're probably all guilty of it from time to time, food waste can really be prevented. And that doesn't even have to be complicated. The app Too Good To Go rescues products left over locally by entrepreneurs. We like the Magic Box (understatement: we think it's a really great concept), because no one wants waste and everyone likes surprises, right? A box that you pick up at your favorite store, but the contents of which remain a surprise. Just download, log in, order, pay a small amount et voila, this is how you save food. Thanks to the Magic Box from Too Good To Go.

Food waste for dummies is the best way to describe the Too Good To Go app. Because although this app naturally strives for a world without food waste, that is probably still a bridge too far for you. Because we no longer need to tell you that more than a third of food is wasted. What's in it for you? Well, cheap products from your favorite entrepreneurs and you also contribute to solving this huge problem. We find it extra nice that what you get is a surprise, which also saves you the stress of choosing at the bakery, greengrocer or of course the supermarket.

And then, as experienced Too Good To Go users, we are of course happy to share our favorites. Because what we recently saw was the Magic Box from De Bijenkorf Patisserie. We are already fans of that anyway, but we were very curious about that Magic Box. If we were lucky that it was available, we quickly pressed the order button for €4,99 and then we were of course interested in the costs we would save. A tenner, to be precise. Once at De Bijenkorf, the black chic box was already ready for us. And it was exactly what you expect from the Patisserie. No bells and whistles, but a really tasty cake. You almost forget that you are also doing good for the planet.

Now there is of course more on the app in Amsterdam. In fact, some of ours all time Favorite bakers are also participating: Ulmus Bakery en Comet Bread Café in North! We are also fans of Bakery Westerpark, where we pick up a mega bag of bread, cake and cookies at the end of the day almost every week (just before the weekend that is really perfect) and we are curious about restaurant Semai . O! And that Magic Box from a cheese specialty store is also high on the list. The next goal will be a drink with the Too Good To Go boxes... To be continued ;-).
