Hotel Bazar has been one of the best options for a night's sleep in the Maasstad for many years. No news, no surprise perhaps, but it deserves to be said. Expect tasteful, although occasionally somewhat dated rooms with a great bed for a remarkably low price (which immediately forgives the somewhat outdated appearance). The breakfast the next morning is anything but average: the well-known oriental delicacy that you are served in the Bazar restaurant on the ground floor of the building during the evening hours also appears in the morning hours. Fresh juice, homemade jam, 'normal' bread and Moroccan bread; a kind of thick warm wraps. Moreover, the thousand and one nights looks combined with a good dose of down-to-earth Rotterdam port city never get boring.
