New: Hotel Coeur de Megève
Viva France! They have so many nice, too beautiful I want it NOW places that make you homesick without even having been there. When you see the pictures you want to get into the car and go. Right? We do!
Also take a look The Minotte en Chateau Sassy! Told you so...
The nice thing about it France is that it is not only nice in the summer: you are also in the right place in the winter. Skiing, hiking, good food, good wine - it's all there
Our latest French discovery: Hotel Coeur de Megeve.
A luxury boutique hotel in the heart of Megeve. The hotel has 39 rooms and suites with those wonderful French-style balloons, attic rooms, bunk beds for the kids and those wonderful large bathrooms. Everything made of wood, warm fabrics and a funky touch or print here and there to keep it nice and young.
The living room, a nice name for the lobby, is cozy and the ideal place to relax with a book after a long walk. Play games by the fireplace and then go to the restaurant La Muse, ah, nice you can go here all day long. The dishes are Mediterranean with ofcourse as many products from the region as possible. Big plus: they also have a good bar, Le Meige for a good cocktail or another alcoholic drink, ha.
In winter the outdoor bar is the apres-ski meeting place not to be missed. In the summer you can sit on the hotel terrace with your head in the sun on the picturesque square of Megève
The spa is also one you don't want to miss. Relax and really recover. They use Tata Harper products here, everything 100% natural. After a day outside in the snow, nothing is as nice as going into the sauna. You can also book treatments there, but ok.
The nice thing about Megève is that you can walk very well in the area, but the hotel is also around the corner from ski lifts. Hello new winter sports destination. How cool, you can also visit a reindeer farm, take a dog sled ride or a horse and (snow) cart ride. So also a nice destination if you travel with some ski fans, there is also plenty to do for the rest of the family. Are you going in the summer? There is also plenty to do, walking, picnicking, cycling and visiting nice local markets.
