Vanlife at pop-up camping de Camphanen

The 'traveling' campsite of The Camphans. You can sleep here or on it workation in a unique one campervan in the middle of Dutch nature. Moreover, the men behind the concept, experienced campers who know their stuff, will take care of everything for you. There will be one on arrival at the campsite ready-to-sleep van ready for you, including cozy outdoor seating, campfire possibility and sanitary facilities. But really everything has been thought of. And after the first successful edition in 2020, they will return in 2021 with the same concept. Let the camp venture begin!

Is camping a woman's thing? No way! Okay, okay, we also see that the flowers, colored cushions, flags and more words with a lot of '-s' color behind the average campsite, but there are also real cool men's campsites! In fact: cool campsites that are fun for the whole family. Tell me more?

Okay: Sander and Victor, the men behind De Camphanen (top name by the way) are quite into camping with their own offspring and as we wrote here before: you can (really!) learn camping. Trial and error, but once you get a few years further, the checklist is really complete.

Upon arrival at the Camphanen pop-up campsite, 25 unique vintage vehicles are ready and waiting. For example, a 6-seater DAF city bus (!) and a customized fire truck. Fun for kids and adults. But of course you can also make your own oldtimer camper, caravan or bring a tent. No problemo. The men actually just like it. While in 2020 they could only be booked for a week, in 2021 they can be booked from April 23 to August 27, 2021.

Whether it's struggling with working from home and children being at home. Whether your own four walls drive you crazy. After months of working from home and offices that are still not fully open, new work energy is welcome. You can book a two-day or midweek package with De Camphanen. Working with good WiFi from your camper. Healthy lunch, breakfast and dinner will be arranged for you. And in the evening, you close your laptop to unload in nature. Isn't that the working environment you've always wanted?

We also think that throwing a ball around to your boss to book a round of campers for the entire team is a great idea.

During a year-long adventure in which the four of us (Victor, his girlfriend and their two children) were not the same, no two days were the same. With The Camphans We want other people to be able to experience this too, a different life for a week." Sander adds: ''Right now it's wonderful to have adventures in your own country. That is why we have come up with the traveling campsite where you sleep in unique campervans. This way you can still experience life on the road a bit. '

Is there anything else to do at the Camphanen? Really. There is a kids-only disco. One of those overprotective parents NOT ALLOWED are welcome. Kids asleep? Top! Time for fathers and mothers: the feet of the floor in a disco as it should be (sounds exciting we think) and of course you can enjoy the catering industry. Because eating the DIY bar is simply good through and through. Did you go a little too wild on the dance floor? Then the baker will brighten you up in the morning with fresh rolls. Or join the morning work-outcool yoga lesson. All good.

This summer, De Camphanen will settle at Landgoed Energy in Zeewolde, near Harderwijk. A good spot in the heart of nature, surrounded by lots of water and forest. Books? Via www.decamphanen.nl there is a choice of different accommodations and options for weekends and weekdays.
