Things to do during Pride Amsterdam 2026
Pride! That needs no explanation, of course: finally a colorful Amsterdam again this year with nothing but love for everyone. With this year's theme LOVE. Go July 25 to August 8, 2026 we celebrate the freedom to be yourself and that you – which we find perfectly logical – can love whoever you want. With as the highlight The Canal Parade: The world-famous boat parade sails on Saturday 1 August 2026 from 12:00 to 18:00. We celebrate, certainly, but Pride is also a moment to take a critical look at what can still be improved, where allies can contribute and how we can make the world more inclusive.
Throughout the entire week, activities, lectures, and events are being organized across Amsterdam, and it is being tackled on a grand scale.

We prefer to celebrate Pride with a glass in hand and glitter all around. On Thursday, July 30, the now iconic Amstel Drag Show returns to the Amstel Lounge, once again hosted by none other than Miss April Summer. From 20:30 PM to midnight, there will be an evening full of joy, self-expression, and inclusivity.
Throughout the evening, you can order from a special Drag Show menu featuring champagne, wines, spritzes, and snacks. Want to ease into it? Pull up a chair in the Spritz Garden beforehand for pre-drinks, as part of the resident DJ Thursdays. Please note: there are only 50 tickets (€79 pp). So whoever wants to be there books quickly.
If you really want to turn it into a party, then there is The Amstel Pride ExperiencePride amenities in the room, a Bols Pride Spritz by the Amstel, and a champagne breakfast with a view of the water. Moreover, €50 from every overnight stay goes to Pride Amsterdam, so that celebrating and contributing go beautifully hand in hand.
Mark Wednesday, July 29 in your calendar, because the historic St. Olof's Chapel will transform for one evening into a cheerful, musical Pride Bingo. Drag, music, and lots of fun. The evening is organized by Paleis van de Weemoed and is part of an initiative in which entrepreneurs, hospitality businesses, and social organizations on and around the Zeedijk celebrate Pride together and show what the neighborhood stands for: connection, diversity, and a colorful character.
The program includes musical bingo, spectacular drag performances, and Coby van Dam as host. Make it a complete night out and pull up a chair at Vermeer's Wijnkamer beforehand for a good glass of wine and accompanying bites. That way, you start the evening in style.
For an evening full of glitter, disco, and a healthy dose of Pride energy, you need to be at Avani Museum Quarter Amsterdam on Friday, July 31. The hotel is organizing All Pride, No Pause: a festive Drag Disco Bingo show where bingo is played just a little differently.
A mix of disco classics, hilarious bingo moments, and spectacular drag performances. There is a performance by Drag Race Holland winner Vanessa Van Cartier, accompanied by Gio Diekemaen Miss Icy.
This is the festive kick-off of Pride Amsterdam. On Saturday 25 July, the entire Vondelpark will be transformed into a cheerful festival area full of music, sports, art and everything that makes Pride so special.
There are performances on two stages (hello Tropical Stage!). A Rainbow Market, yoga on the grass, glitter face painting, and lots of cheerful people. From boxing to bingo and from queer kids From grandpa with a fan: everyone is welcome. Nothing is mandatory, everything is allowed.

Milkshake is backIt is no ordinary festival: it is a celebration of freedom, love, creativity, and just plain fun, and immediately one of Europe's most famous queer festivals. On the grounds of Westerpark, you will find multiple stages, bizarre outfits, glitter from head to toe, and a colorful mix of artists that will blow you away.

The highlight of Pride Amsterdam? The legendary Canal Parade of course. On Saturday, August 1, more than 80 colorfully decorated boats sail through the canals – from queer organizations to large companies and everything in between.
The atmosphere? Music, dance, colour, glitter and love everywhere. Whether you are on a boat or sitting with your feet in the grass along the quay: this is the moment to celebrate the freedom of the city together.
The route is from Oosterdok via the Amstel and Prinsengracht to Westerdok. Tip: be on time, the quays are so full.
Of course the Reguliersdwarsstraat; one of the most colorful and inclusive nightlife streets in Amsterdam. There is always something to do here, but during Pride it is extra fun. If you feel like having a party (or a lot of parties), you can go crazy here until the early hours. (A good place for the after).
But Amsterdam is bursting with street parties during Pride Week, especially with the predicted warm weather. The entire city center is transformed into a Pride zone, from Marnixstraat to Stoperaplein and from Reguliersdwarsstraat to Dam Square. Follow the music…
