Riad Berbère

Riad Berbère

Riad Berbère is a picture-perfect riad. And that is a understatement. This historic 13th-century house has been carefully restored and brought back to life. Inside, you will find an intimate setting with three suites and two double rooms. Antique details, rich fabrics, and serenity predominate, creating an understated atmosphere. The patio forms the heart of the house: green, quiet, and balanced. Simplicity, but in the best possible way. Luxury. The service is warm and in harmony with the atmosphere of the riad.

The Mellah Hotel

The Mellah Hotel

In the heart of the historic medina, in the Mellah district, lies the eponymous ten-room Mellah Hotel. Called a hotel, but housed in a riad. The great thing about Marrakech and places like Mellah is the high level of service that feels almost a given here, although with some you notice just that little bit of extra finesse. And that is clearly the case here. The real eye catcherThe rooftop terrace features a long swimming pool clad in red and white tiles that seem to leap out of the water and beg for a dip. Inside, you look out onto a courtyard with an orange tree, where artwork by Moroccan artists hangs on the walls. No hype, just attention, taste, and tranquility. From around €300 per night, and although that is pricey for the city, it feels justified.

Eight rooms, each with its own character, surrounding a quiet patio where the water gently ripples. Upstairs, the rooftop terrace awaits with a swimming pool, hammocks, and views over the city. Inside: fresh flowers, embroidered linens, and warm service. An extra plus: the restaurant, where Moroccan and Spanish flavors come together.

Riad Sierra

Riad Sierra

It is the case at many a riad, perhaps even all of them: you are still standing in the hustle and bustle of the city, and a moment later a blanket of tranquility falls over you. And so it has Riad Sierra that also runs flawlessly. What stands out: the grey-green woodwork and the whitewashed walls. Fresh. No excess, but exactly the right choices. Beautiful zellige (those tiles we love so much), sleek woodwork, and a peaceful patio. And best of all: Mourad, who puts the finishing touch on everything with his service.

Riad Sakkan

Riad Sakkan

This riad, run by the Belgian Veerle and her husband, is beautiful. Riad Sakkan has twelve rooms, each with individual styling. Naturally, there is a beautiful inner courtyard, plants standing and hanging everywhere, and everything is simply arranged down to the last detail. You can also have breakfast here (included in the price if you stay here, but can also be booked separately), lunch, and dinner, and you can also join in for a bite to eat even if you are not staying here. Contact them in advance. does the trick.

Riad Al Uzza

Riad Al Uzza

Riad Al Uzza It is a riad with a slightly more modern guise than its classic siblings. Sleeker in design, with a subtle European touch here and there in the tile selection, but still completely Marrakech. The plunge pool is a wonderful way to cool off on warm days. You don't have to worry about being well taken care of for a moment here: they know exactly how to pamper you. And perhaps the best detail: the price-quality ratio here is excellent.

IZZA

IZZA

In the middle of the medina resides IZZA, an enchanting riad where art, design, and history seamlessly blend. Spread across seven traditional riads, you'll find fourteen stylish rooms, three swimming pools, tranquil patios, a spa, and an impressive art collection—a tribute to design icon Bill Willis, the man who gave Marrakech its artistic flair. IZZA is more than a boutique hotel: it's a museum with a bed. At the top of the hotel awaits Noujoum, the rooftop bar and restaurant. From Berber eggs and mint tea for breakfast to tagines and local wines under the stars, everything exudes pure Moroccan charm and that touch of luxury we love so much.

Riad Brummell Medina

Riad Brummell Medina

Marrakech is also known as the red city and Riad Brummell Medina has fully embraced that. This 19th-century city palace with just five rooms is finished in warm terracotta and red tones, from the walls deep into the rooms themselves. Old arches, high ceilings, and a patio where light, water, and greenery take center stage. A crackling fire on the roof terrace. Surrounding it is a mix of traditional craftsmanship and design pieces that give the whole thing just a fresh twist. Should that be your preference: it is a adults only riad

In addition to the riad, the annex can also be booked, ideal for those who really want to settle down in Marrakech with a group of eight.

Riad Dyor

Riad Dyor

Ryad Dyor It is a fusion of two authentic riads, resulting in a bright, spacious hotel. Larger than most riads, yes, but (fortunately) Ryad Dyor has remained intimate; there are only seven rooms. Suites, actually. Moreover: two houses, and therefore two courtyards. In one, you will find the small pool (not for swimming laps, but for cooling off), and in the other, mainly palm trees and a fountain. The rooftop terrace is also fantastic and offers a beautiful view of the old city while you enjoy a delicious breakfast. Highly recommended. to the max.

Riad Dar-K

Riad Dar-K

The power of Dar-K It lies in its elegant simplicity. Four rooms: two dead-basic for two, and two slightly more luxurious where even your little one fits. Not exactly unique, as the city center is teeming with lodging raids, but the same applies to Dar-K: you find it right in the middle of the Medina; busy and dirty outside, an oasis inside. The location is practically perfect: the old part of the Riad and the best part of the souk are less than a minute's walk away, and Jemaa el Fna is ten minutes away. The small hotel is run by the French couple Sibel and Valentin, and they serve a truly delicious breakfast (we almost forgot: nowhere is the orange juice better than here!).
