Your attractive holiday home in St. Tropez: Maison d'Orange La Pinede
Who thinks it's southern France St. Tropez is an unaffordable place where holidaying is only accessible to the Happy few...Is kind of right in a way. Yup, all the clichés and prejudices are largely true: St. Tropez is grand, compelling and expensive. One grotesque yacht pushing another aside and a traffic jam of Ferraris heading towards the city center around 19 p.m.
What is not true, however, is that a holiday in St. Tropez is unattainable. Are you crazy! We can enjoy ourselves and now also have an affordable (okay: everything in proportion) pearl of a (family) holiday home within walking distance (!) of the evocative southern French city that was (and is) of household names such as Brigitte Bardot. Look, we as fellow BB'ers can find our way there. The destination? The attractive holiday home in St. Tropez Maison d'Orange La Pinede hot.
Where to start? Maison d'Orange La Pinede on the edge of the city center of bustling St. Tropez had us ate the tasteful and attractive soft green shutters, the mere 10-minute walk to Place des Lices – the square where the famous (and really fun) market is set up twice a week and where the rest of the time locals and tourists together petanque standing around playing. And the pictures of fresh white bedrooms, a simple kitchen and a nice, blue-white tiled bathroom also made the 'I'm going to book now' button quick.hits was. What turned out? Not only did the pictures not lie, Maison d'Orange La Pinede is also located in a super quiet location right next to, and yet completely closed off from, the busy access road to St. Tropez. A U-turn in the road leads you to the dead end of the road where you reach the gate Maison d'Orange La Pinede finds. And that is, when traveling with kids, a big bonus.
Behind that gate is a classic southern French villa with several small and larger apartments, all with a terrace in front of the door that are - pleasantly - connected to each other. These apartments are clean, fresh white and, thanks to well-chosen accessories, tasteful and completely contemporary. Nothing too much, nothing too little and therefore just right for a week's stay: the children sleep perfectly on the (easy to fold and unfold) sofa bed in the living room, the kitchen is small, but fully equipped and the large bedroom lends itself perfect for an extra baby bed. Which the lovely owners will of course prepare for you. And then you're stuck with your holiday bibs any holidaying French rich & famous. Ha!
