A sweet English tea house with an Amsterdam edge and a very nice beer and snack menu: that is The Cottage in Amsterdam East. For breakfast, brunch, lunch & drinks. Bam. All that, comfort comfort comfort, in a very cozy green-yellow room with beautiful old school porcelain Heinekentap. With an old Dutch print, you-know-what. Nice.
Expected cars feet, Scotch eggs, scones in all kinds of variants and therefore beers from the UK that you do not encounter on every street corner. You can sit comfortably inside, but when the sun shines, the terrace is where you need to be. The vegetarian sausage roll is also delicious (really, and with spicy English mustard) and for a good start to the day you can of course order the English breakfast.
