The Paris Club: a piece of Paris in Düsseldorf
Düsseldorf: just cross the border - well, that obviously depends on where you come from in the Netherlands - and therefore easy to reach by car or train. And guess what? Düsseldorf is so much more than Christmas markets. There are many wonderful places to be found. This also applies to The Paris Club: a piece of charming, classic Paris in raw and industrial Düsseldorf. The combination of hotel, restaurant and bar in one remains one winning team. Especially like that bar rooftop bar turns out to be, with a 360 degree view of a giganticBuenos Aires. Like here, at The Paris Club. Ouioui, douze points.
Located just outside the center, but in a central location in the Pempelfort district, and one of the most popular places in Düsseldorf. This is of course not without reason: the formal and casual looks of the Paris Club are enviable, the view of the 16e (restaurant) and 17e (bar) floor amazing and the hospitality is on point. A restaurant where your coat is taken upon arrival and an aperitif is ready, so to speak. What is on the menu in the restaurant? French bistro dishes – ofcourse – with classics such as steak tartare, escargots and mussels. Believe us: so yummy. The design is what we hope for in a restaurant and bar: dimmed atmospheric light, velvet chairs, a bit of industrial vibe through it (we are in Düsseldorf after all) and a huge bar with chairs. Of course. Because everyone knows: the best place in a hotel bar is at the bar itself. So you can watch how the delicious cocktails are made. Flip tip: the 'Gimlet de Maman'. Saffron Gin combined with pear and rosemary turns out to be delicious.
The best thing about hotel bars? While you hang at the bar, sipping your cocktail, know that you can then roll straight into bed. That is also possible here. From the rooftop bar you enter the elevator to end up a few floors lower in the 25 Hours Hotel. Same style, same concept and affordable. Handy if you have had a cocktail - or two - too many. It remains cozy here until the early hours of the night. Enjoy yourself to the fullest at The Paris Club.
