Woodview – Most beautiful holiday home in the Achterhoek
Whoa, stop the presses. We know it; the last minute stress. The dilemma of wanting to leave, to get out for a while. Then immediately the problem; where to? Because what nice spot still has availability and is still available? Well, we'll give you a bite-sized answer: Woodview in the Achterhoek!
Just opened means a fairly empty agenda and therefore sufficient nights available.
Woodview has been finished since the beginning of March 2022 and that ensures a lot of availability (you have to take action on time, of course). The beautiful holiday home was personally designed and furnished and is located in the Achterhoek.
The Achterhoek: a wonderful part of the Netherlands for a holiday, a weekend away or a night out. There are also fantastic tips on the Woodview site for entertainment in the area; with Groenlo and Ruurlo around the corner, there is plenty to do if you get tired of being indoors. We consider that chance to be small.
Woodview started with a dream; a place of your own. Not a house but a retreat where you come and go, but what feels like home. It is fully equipped. Elke (owner and designer of the beautiful house) has handled this with care and thought about everything.
The house is equipped with everything for both a couple without kids and a (large) family. Equipped with 6 sleeping places (1 parental bedroom) and a kids room with no fewer than 4 (!) beds in the bedroom. The kitchen is large and makes it a wonderful place for everyone - that was also the goal, where young and old alike feel at home.
Every comfort has been taken into account, there is a high chair, toys, etc., but not in sight. Just the way you want it. The 70 square meters are wonderful for a couple (space!) but also nice and cozy for large groups. And that garden offers a solution, because you actually live outside as soon as the sun comes out.
Elke can furnish a home, holiday home or B&B. This entrepreneur has a lot of experience. Perhaps that is why the house turned out so well.
In addition to peace, the house also provides a large dose of happiness and cheerfulness. With many windows, beautiful warm colors but also some primary light shades, you get an instant good feeling as soon as you cross the threshold. In addition to the basic equipment, luxury has also been considered. A nice pizza oven and a wood stove. Soap and shampoo from Maris Stella Maris and in the evening you crawl under the covers of Yumeko.
You can also quickly prepare for the kids because there is a trampoline and swing in the garden. So you can stretch your legs and quickly (finally) finish that book.
Apart from the wonderful accommodation, there is plenty to do in the area. The village of Halle is quite small, but there is plenty to do in the area.
There is certainly something to do in Groenlo and you can enjoy lunch or dinner at Welgelegen. Orangerie de Pol is nice in Doetinchem, this is a glass restaurant in the middle of nature. The Orangery can also arrange transport for you (with their own car) if you want to unpack and return to the house.
For kids you can go to the climbing forest in Ruurlo or you can go to the Leemputten Nature Park in Groenlo.
