Fans of Scandinavian design are guaranteed to find something to their liking at Espoo. This gem opened its doors on the Vlaamse Kaai in 2009 and moved to the Antwerp Kloosterstraat eight years later. Espoo was one of the first stores to collect the best from Scandinavia in a completely new concept. Call it the mecca for Nordic minimalism! Today Espoo remains true to its Scandinavian roots, but you will find unique interior objects from all over the world. Also nice: since the move in 2017, you can also go to Espoo Lab for total furnishings. And if you can't get to Antwerp, just shop online!

One of the best things about The Plantcorner in Antwerp is not necessarily the store – although it certainly has that too – but the location. The shop is located in the Green Quarter and that is where you will find hotel August, restaurant The Jane and PAKT, among others. Party, trust us. And furthermore, The Plantcorner is a real urban jungle in the middle of the city. Here you will find all kinds of nice plants, books, plant tools and pots for your home. Also Scandinavian, but no less fun, is the Vitra Partner Store in Sint-Antoniussstraat. The store is a first, as the very first Vitra Partner Store, and we can only applaud that. In a space of 700m² you will find not only the complete Vitra catalog - including a gigantic wall with all the chairs from the collection - but also well-known designs by Charles and Ray Eames, Jean Prouvé, Maarten van Severen and co. Fun fact: the Vitra Partner Store is located in the former showroom of Walter Van Beirendonck – you know, that of the famous Antwerp Six – near the Antwerp Fashion Museum. You can also jump in there right away.

Last but not least in this list of Antwerp interior design highlights: St. Vincents. When founders Henri and Geraldine said goodbye to their office jobs in December 2015, they decided to breathe new life into an old printing company on the Kleine Markt. Coffee house, concept store, design agency and art gallery St. Vincents was born. The rough edges of the original building were retained and filled with a careful selection of rare finds and contemporary design. At St. Vincents you will find furniture, art and design from established names such as Apparatus Studio and destroyers/builders alongside work by young Belgian designers, vintage finds and beautiful coffee table books. And a delicious cup of coffee, too!

Nice... Such a beautiful clean all natural predominantly white house. Nice for someone else especially. For anyone who, like us, prefers a little more color in their home, this interior design store in Antwerp is 'your man'. Your wife actually, because it is the Flemish Paulette herself from whom you can buy the nicest, happiest and most colorful items.
Anyway, for all your color in your home: go shopping at Paulette in the City in Antwerp. You can find Paulette and her colorful stuff at Sint-Jorispoort number 20, an extension of the Lange Gasthuisstraat, in the heart of the city.
