Quite a bit is being built within Team Bart HQ, that's why Bart Bouwt. Sometimes it takes a little longer, sometimes it goes quickly, but the fact is that all that building (but especially furnishing) in addition to Better Dining and Steengoede Travelen, is our (other) great love. This is also the case with Marloes, who is almost (almost, almost) moving into her new house. Small detail (literally): it's only 30m². But that's allowed Pinterest fun don't press. Not at all. Rather the opposite.

Hence: 5 x favorite interior ideas from the soon to be mini palace.

Marble for president
Maybe (already?) passé for some, but we are all still doing very well here marble look. Black, white or green? We want it all. And preferably in combination with gold or steel. See for example this coffee table from Furnified, a furniture store from Antwerp (with a showroom in Amsterdam!) that works with limited editions. Unfortunately, this color is no longer made (a small edition means unique furniture but sometimes also disappointing faces... When do we start one bring it back petition?). The table in black, white or green is still there. Nevertheless, it is a beautiful picture (that wall cupboard too, wow). Check Furnified for more.

Minimal
Well, at 30m² (unfortunately) you can't always do that all out go and paint your walls pitch black. And putting a busy rug in all the colors of the rainbow on the floor might not feel quite right either. So? Then you can keep it light and tight. White it is, there was never anything wrong with that. But also think how nice it would be if you deviated from that just a little bit. A soft pastel shade in old pink, taupe or 'grége' (soft gray-beige), slightly greenish or a blue glow... So beautiful! And then a white piece of furniture against it. Or more practical: a piece of furniture in a tone-on-tone tone on a white floor (so beautiful!) with a white Berber rug over it.

Just check out this floor: Le Noir et Blanc. We saw it in real life and believe us: it is beautiful!

And if you want to keep your walls white, hang large paintings or posters on the walls in the colors you like!

Also on the wish list to finish it off with black: black dinner plates with copper-colored cutlery. MADE.com, for example, has very nice cutlery and for the black boards we scroll to the new one WestWing Now!

Urban jungle
Latest addition to the new house: the zebra plant, whose trunk has – you guessed it – a zebra print. Furthermore, there are some cacti and lots of other greenery (even some plants with sneaky millennial pink details) ready for the move, completely ready to create my own urban jungle to create on that 30m². Because if you can remember one thing, plants are ALWAYS possible. With plants in your home it immediately feels cozier, and there are plenty of easy plants that you – yes, you too – can keep alive in your small apartment. And the fact that those new green friends also purify the air for you is of course a bonus.

Oh, and the best way to complete your plant story: rattan and wire chairs! In all shapes and sizes. A rattan stool you can always put it somewhere (plant on it when you are home alone, plant on the ground and you have an extra seat when you have visitors) and with a wire chair keep your air in your small home (or in black, immediately chic).

Millennial pink with green
No more news, but a combination that makes us very, very happy: all kinds of green with Millennial pink. Let's be honest: great, all those pictures, but where do we get them? That Millennial pink? That just right, soft touch of cold, yet beige-like pink that is a bit reminiscent of American retro 70s dinners (and think of Sketch in London)?

A wall or a cushion in the right shade of pink is easy to find and perfect with, for example, this particularly well-done one bucket seats from Quantum.

Velvet
Last but not leaset: velvet is and remains fantastic. And nowadays it is available in all shapes and sizes (also for next to nothing!). Very nice: classy glitter and velvet accents in the mix. If not in the form of a gigantic sofa, then in the dining room chairs. And it doesn't have to be girlish or hysterical: dark blue or green velvet sofas look very chic.
