Damn it. Another tasty spot where you would love to eat all holiday long. Bee La Planque and Persche it's a big party. When you drive onto the estate, you already feel like you are in a relaxed atmosphere.

At Planque (may we say) they have a few rooms (also highly recommended) and they serve the most beautiful dishes made from local ingredients.

We often see one in this region table d'hôte, but that's a bit different here (we like it): they make a new list of dishes every week. Most between 8-12 euros, small dishes that you can eat a few of.

Are you going in the summer? Please pay attention, because different opening hours apply (in the entire region): restaurants are often open from Thursday to Sunday.

La Buchère, 61130 Bellou-le-Trichard

Les Pieds Dans L'eau can be found in the heart of the Le Perche region. The restaurant was started by a couple from the region and they know how to find the right suppliers with the best products, without thinking.

The restaurant is located in an old mill between fields and a pond. And that immediately makes this a very special place. The dishes are simple and pure, with a modern twist. The menu is very accessible. So you can have a “small” menu for 27 euros and you can expand to 37.

Be sure to get advice about the wines, because there is plenty of knowledge here.

28 Chemin de la Folle Entreprise, 61400 Saint-Langis-lès-Mortagne

Opened almost a year ago and now the region can no longer do without it. In addition, they are normally full - so booking in time is one thing black. What makes reservations even more difficult is that they are only open from Thursday to Saturday, which makes spots even scarcer.

At Oiseau Oiseau you can eat 15 minutes from Belleme. Perhaps the nicest village in the region. Here they have a fantastic wine cellar and an equally fantastic interior – French with a modern edge.

The awning already gets 10 points because of the beautiful green color, which immediately makes the entrance cozy. Don't expect many vegetarian options at Oiseau, local, good meat and fish are often served here. Emmaleth works here in the kitchen and, in addition to fantastic dishes, also makes great pastries. Rhubarb tarts, lemon meringue (but slightly different), you want it all. So book quickly.

5 place Saint-Germain, 61340 Perche-en-Nocé

All time fav: D'une île. The place where you can come back every year and still be surprised. From morning to night you can be pampered in this farm. Or you do none of that and go out on your own - everything is possible, everything is allowed.

We are especially fans of the table d'hôte which is served every evening and is always refined and good and never disappoints. The wines? Idem.

In addition, the facilities top notch. Think sauna with a view of the greenery, spacious rooms with bath and since summer 2022 also a swimming pool. That settles it.

L'Aunay, 61110 Remalard

Brasserie du Preche is a very nice excursion. You go to the beer brewery in the area. With delicious beers on tap and plenty to do – such as pedal boating or sailing on the beautiful lake in front of the brewery.

Apart from the delicious beers, you can also order a snack. The easy stuff: cheese, charcuterie, burgers, crepes, you know the drill.

On the site (which is not very attractive by the way) you can check out the activities for that week in advance. For kids there is also often fun organised.

Chateau de Miserai moulin de Brotz, 61 290 L'Hôme-Chamondot

Belleme is the place to be in the area. This may be because the area does not have very large cities. That is why Bellême, with the market they have, is highly recommended.

Always check in advance, but there is often life here on Thursdays and Saturdays.

There are also a number of nice flea shops and nice shops on the square. A home furnishings store on the corner near the stairs (you will understand this when you are there) and on the corner a boutique for ladies and kids clothing, including American vintage, bobo choses, Emilie et ida.

You can drink coffee at the Verticale or at Tonton. There is also a new tea room at the top of the gate - with the tastiest madeleines and lemon cake.
