Lots of water, even more sand, et voila, Zeeland. However, that description is very short-sighted, because Zeeland is very beautiful and full of things to do hotspots. It was therefore high time to sort them out. Here's a new one Bart's Best of; Zeeland with (unexpected) hotspots through Zeeland.

Shed Ten – a small (but nice) tent with a beautiful view of the lighthouse and the Buenos Aires of Vlissingen. Lounging is central here, chill music and nice lounge sofas. You can come here from just having your coffee, but we understand very well that you will not want to get up once you are here. Shed Ten
Waterdunen – a nature reserve with a delta work. This delta work not only holds back the water, but also makes recreation possible. All kinds of ramps and bridges have been constructed in the 'play nature', so you can wander around endlessly. Waterdunen
Brewer's room – Beer lover? That's a good time. Brouwerslokaal in Groede brews its own beer and does this seasonally. And no, this is not a lame brewery. Read: thirty taps, eleven meter long concrete bar, three nitro taps and two pouring tanks. What else is on the menu? It just depends on what comes in at that moment from your own (yes, your own) farm and picking garden. Brewer's room
Fonteyn – This lovely spot is located on the village square of Groede, opposite the church. Can't miss it. In summer it is a well-known and always busy attraction for everyone looking for ice cream. In winter it is a wonderful place to enjoy all the goodies from Fonteyn's Zeeland kitchen in the cozy shop. Fonteyn
In the Morelleput, Nieuwvliet – The estate is located adjacent to a nature reserve, a stone's throw from the sea and surrounded by the Zeeland dikes In the Morelleput. The 6 Linden – a very handsome hospitality farm near the Zeeland coast. The Zeeland farmhouse was extensively refurbished and renovated so that guests could sit down for a seven-course menu and then stay overnight. You can, after all, stay there too! The 6 Linden

Brasserie Lou Lou – Lou Lou is one of those authentic brasseries where you simply eat well. Silt & Salt, Retranchement – for when you want something a bit more upscale (the place name Zilt & Zout already gives it away a little). On the menu: Seafood and fresh sole.
