B&B Koto, Antwerp
Yours truly likes to visit Antwerp with her husband and dog (understatement). That 'with man' is not the point, the man can be encouraged about that, but the dog, that is difficult in the otherwise dog-friendly city. So thank you for the arrival of Koto, a new B&B on the edge of the Antwerp district 't Zuid. Koto? It's like this: the couple who run Koto, Tamara and Sven, are (were) quite fond of travelling. Was, since Sven got the news that he was going blind. To use an understatement: it sucks. Tamara and Sven changed course, bought a large mansion on the outskirts of Antwerp and set up their Koto there: a fantastic B&B with two garden suites and a swimming pool!

Aloha, Antwerp! The idea is that Koto should be relaxed, but also exotic. One of the suites therefore became an Indian suite, the other an African, and both open onto the garden with swimming pool and outdoor living room (with fireplace). The Indian suite has an arch of beautiful wood carvings and a free bath, while in the African suite the floor and walls were covered with a giraffe skin print. This suite is connected to a tree house by a bamboo bridge, especially for those who are traveling with their offspring (it is definitely recommended for kids: Tamara and Sven have two children of their own and understand what they (and you) want. Moreover, they take care of for a home-cooked meal for the little ones, and for a professional babysitter when fathers and mothers go into town). Oh, and another bonus, with or without kids: Tamara makes one every morning egg coddler, a poached egg in the traditional English way in a porcelain pot. B&B Koto
