Little Canvas Escape, Ameland - Barts Boekje
Bart's booklet banner guides

At Little Canvas Escape Ameland you are in the middle of the dunes and therefore very close to the beach. You can easily go paddling pools or have a drink on the terrace of Sjoerd or Bravo. In no time you will be in the center of Nes with all the fun that comes with it.

On wonderful Ameland you will find even more wonderful camping, but more glamping Little Canvas Escape. In the middle of the dunes, close to the beach and a stone's throw from Nes, this is the place where nature, comfort and excitement are combined. After her many travels around the world, entrepreneur and adventurer Astrid has bundled all her ideas into this new glamping baby - a place where you can enjoy the outdoors in a unique place and combined that with the experience, the service and the stylish decor of a small boutique hotel. When you say glamping, you say Little Canvas Escape.

Also nice: you can use all the facilities of camping Duinoord (there is Little Canvas Escape part of), so if you want to get some fries from the canteen or do some last minute shopping at the camping shop, that's all possible. Sanitary facilities are within walking distance; just a matter of crossing the field. There is a comfortable bed (really very comfortable) with all kinds of nice pillows, you have a fridge for the vino, a small one glamping kitchen and your own outdoor space to do what you want. Are you missing something? No problemo, just send us an app (there is WiFi at all tents) and it will be arranged for you. You can also book breakfast and it will almost (almost) be delivered to your bed. Waking up every morning with a freshly boiled egg, fresh orange juice, sandwiches, toppings, yogurt, fruit and the whole rambam. Good morning!

And, and and: they still have room for this summer! So take a quick look.

Location, location, location

Er, yes, in the middle of the dunes and therefore very close to the beach. You can easily go paddling pools or have a drink on the terrace of Sjoerd or Bravo. In no time you will be in the center of Nes with all the fun that comes with it. And if you have Ameland as a holiday destination, you immediately have a long list of fun things to do: a wander on the mudflats, exploring the island with an E-chopper (a godsend when there is some wind and because they are electric, you can racing everywhere), strolling through Nes, having a drink in Buren, Ballum or Hollum, getting your feet wet at one of the beach clubs (Bravo is around the corner and another very, very nice one is Sunset on the west coast of Ameland).

The eye wants something too

Can you feel like you're staying in a boutique hotel in a tent? Not in every tent, but at Little Canvas Escape it is absolutely perfect. There is an eye for detail and a sense of beautiful things. All tents are furnished in collaboration with various (local) entrepreneurs and if you want (you want it), you can also buy some things to bring that little bit of holiday into your home. Think beautiful coffee cups and tableware, but also a wooden holder to showcase postcards and photos. All the stuff you need for cooking is conveniently hidden away in really cool cupboards (made from recycled PET bottles) or under your enormous bed. Add to that the rolling dune landscape, throw in a sunset and you... picture-perfect is on.

Keffers and Kroost

Children are more than welcome and will have the time of their lives with so much space and play areas. Because you are in the middle of the dunes, dogs are unfortunately not allowed to come glamping at Little Canvas Escape.
