Beer festivals 2023 we are looking forward to
The festival season is coming again! And that also means beer! Yes, blah blah, music, a bit of dancing and drinks, of course they have that at every festival. But for beer drinkers among themselves: a little quality is sometimes missing. That's why it's special - for when you want to drink really good beer and therefore the most enjoyable one festival vibe wants - we have made a (continues to grow) list of the best beer festivals in 2023. Bring it on!
Needless to say, TAPT Beer Festival is all about beer, beer and more beer (or wine or mocktails if that's more your thing). But if you want to show that you understand the trends, you have to look beyond the latest brew and IPAs. That is why there is also room at this festival for low-alcohol and 0% beer and other drinks without alcohol. If that's not the reason why you're going to a beer festival, there are also around 80 beers with alcohol. Look, we'll end that with a heartfelt cheers.

On July 1st it's time for the Kompaan Beer Fest – Independence Day! At the brewery itself, so on the water and plenty of sun. Of course there is more than enough beer from the own brewery, but also expect beers from other Dutch breweries (VanMoll, Homeland, Frontaal, Delftse Brouwers) and a handful of international ones, including FrauGruber from Germany and North Brewing from the UK. They turn on the BBQ, provide music and there is even a tattoo artist. Exciting combination with one too many beers.
It will be there on Saturday, June 25 Friekens Tuinfeest Beer & Neighborhood Festival in Noordoogst, Amsterdam. A nice place anyway, but absolutely the right place to be that Saturday. There will be six local brewers, plenty to eat and live music all day long. Oh, if that's not enough, you can also do a beer workout (these are the best workouts), walk on stilts and become zen while doing beer yoga. From beer nerd to neighbor: it's for everyone!
Friekens Tuinfeest Beer & Neighborhood Festival
The festival where breweries from all over the world present their innovative beers in Leuven (Belgium). show: the Leuven Innovation Beer. Centuries-old brewing traditions go hand in hand with innovation that you will find in the brewing process, the ingredients, the techniques used, the packaging, etc. (yes, we find it interesting). Wild fermentation, unfiltered, ecological or vegan beer, come and taste them on May 21 and 22, 2022.
This year Borefts will take place on Friday September 23 & Saturday September 24. Perhaps the most interesting beer festival of the year for real beer lovers. Large and small breweries from all over the world come together to taste everything: thick IPAs, syrupy stouts, sour stuff (and we mean that in the most positive sense of the word) and many other brews that you don't often encounter. Not for the fainthearted: this is where the real beer tasters come. Their slogan 'Good Beer & Good People' says enough.
