Gift tips for a 1 year old child
That first birthday. We can be tough about it, but that was/is one thing... Baby-finished. Such a special milestone requires a (small) party and a nice gift. And a tear, we are the sentimental kind ;) These are our ultimate gift tips for when your child - or someone else's - turns 1:
White walls are boring walls. We prefer to add a pop of color and create an art wall here and there. This also applies to the children's rooms. The first real drawing is framed, the hands he made at daycare are given a place, and we supplement the rest with beautiful prints and posters. Over the past year, your baby has grown from a mini baby to a toddler. That is quite a transformation, but this second year of life also has the necessary changes in store. Sometime in the coming months your UK will take his or her first steps. A nice walker is handy, fun and quickly turns out to be an ideal storage place for loose blocks and Duplo. Keep breathing and have a camera at hand for when your child starts walking.
speaking of blocks. Building towers is a hit with many toddlers. Actually always good: bath toys. A lot of play equipment that goes into the water gets a bit dirty after a while, so you can't really go wrong if you arrive with a fresh play item for the bath. Wonderfully simple, but oh so much fun rain cloud from Plui. By first holding the cloud under water and then lifting it, rain droplets come out. Also a good way to slowly familiarize your little one with water on his head and prevent hair washing from becoming an uphill battle later. The climbing phase, it's coming. Or you're already in the middle of it, that's also possible. In any case: it is the most fun for enterprising almost-toddlers climbing frame from TriClimb. Not cheap, no, but you can whip this out every play date and it will remain endlessly fun. The slide is also used here on the car track and upside down it is a great marble track.
Melt melts when children emerge (wink) into doll father or mother. The Paola Reina & Minikane dolls smell as sweet as they look (vanilla?). Once your mini is a fan, you can make endless changes with clothes and accessories. We personally love it.
