Enjoy a wonderful night's sleep in the South of France at Camellas Lloret in Montreal
You will find Montréal in the south of France bed & breakfast Camellas Lloret. This one bed & breakfast has the luxury of a boutique hotel and the atmosphere of a cozy home, best of both worlds. Nice rooms, a cozy garden and a wonderful location. The village is located in which bed & breakfast Camellas Lloret is located on a hill above a river, in the middle of Burgundy. La douce France at its best.
The main building of the B&B has four rooms that are beautifully decorated. Marble fireplaces, designer furniture and vintage pearls. With a bit of luck you can score the latter yourself at the local flea market. Would you rather have your own place? The old wood shop in the garden has been converted into an apartment with queen size bed, own kitchen and even a bath (one with legs, we like). The only thing missing is WiFi, but secretly we don't mind that at all. With a salon full of art and travel books you disappear fomo like snow in the sun. Sustainability is important to the owners. The bedding is made of linen, the mattresses are made of organic cotton and only sustainable cleaning products are used.
Montréal is one of the most beautiful medieval villages (i.e Bastides) of France and belongs to 'Les Plus Beaux Villages de France'. Small but nice, with nice shops and terraces. There isn't much to do in the village itself, but you don't have to worry about boredom. There is a lot of fun to see and do in the area. In the morning you can feel like a real one local to the market in Limoux or Mirepoix. In the afternoon you can go to the tourist highlights, such as the Roman Villa de Séviac or Carcasonne, one of the most famous sights in France. The surrounding Cathars are also worth seeing, even if you're not into history. The view is magnificent. Would you rather have wine? But yes, no shortage of vineyards. Brandy lovers are in luck: Armagnac, the oldest brandy in Europe, comes from this region. Almost every weekend there is a flea market somewhere and there are many restaurants serving local specialties.
Indeed, a nice place and a nice environment. What more could you want?
