Chin Chin Club Amsterdam
Oh happy days! Hey there good looking ChinChin Club to the (by me beloved because my house once stood there) Rozengracht in Amsterdam, at number 133, on the site of Boom Chicago, under the beloved Fishing. A little restaurant, a little (cocktail) bar, a little entertainment hall and a little nightclub (WITH KARAOKE, we repeat with karaoke) - all in one. And that was done by the man(s) who, among other things, were also behind it - again serious beloved - Eighth Street and the equally fantastic one Amehoela in Rotterdam to sit. Well we've got you, haven't we? Anyway, that's probably what the image on the left already did. The kitty kitties, which have now become the phenomenon of the club.
Call it a social clubhouse (ChinChin Club's words) with no less than three different bars and, no idea if we already mentioned it, private karaoke rooms. The rest of the program, different from usual, Chinese dishes (nice), quirky cocktails, nostalgic games and late night dancing. Chinatown meets Rozengracht, so to speak (again: nice!). Or, as they say themselves: ChinChin Club is the place where that one last drink turned into one too many. Or as we say it in Dutch 'it just got a bit out of hand'. NICE.
What's for dinner at tha club? Confusion Chinese food in your bowl, from 18 p.m., a collection of what will actually be served later in small form, so that you can choose and taste as much as possible. Spicy Sichuan chicken wings, Asian oysters, scallops with ginger, dim sum and other Asian bites, of that. Whoa, wait a minute… Confusion Chinese? Yes, that's what they call Chinese food with a twist at Chin Chin Club. Add to that everything you think is Chinese (but probably isn't at all) and that's pretty much what it is. Actually. Nicely confusing. You should just test it. So.
